How do I know if my roof needs replacing?
Your roof needs replacing, or to be re-roofed, if:
- The underlining timbers have been damaged and are failing
- Roof tiles are significantly aged and no longer able to adequately protect your home
- Serious sagging of timbers or tiles have started to occur
- Broken roof trusses are common
- Metal roof sheets are rusted and corrugated roofing or colourbond is significantly aged
In these cases, it is usually more practical, and affordable in the long run, to replace the entire roof, rather than keep repairing indefinitely.
